Wheezy vs. Turbo: Who has the best beats on Drip or Drown 2 by Gunna
Drip or Drown 2 is packed with a lot of great tracks, however, only one producer can win this battle. This battle does not include the popularity of the song or the artists performance, only the beats will be taken into account.
Wheezy
1 Who You Foolin2 Wit It
3 3 Headed Snake
4 Baby Birkin
5 Cash War
6 Idk Why
My favorite beat by Wheezy is "Who You Foolin". This track closes out the tape with a hard Japanese guitar melody and the same short, booming 808 used the rest of the songs. "Wit It" starts the project with an ambient, degraded bell melody with accompaniment from some low pulsing chords and angelic choirs to fill in the background. This beat is a great way to start off the project.
Turbo
1 Richard Millie Plain2 On a Mountain
3 Speed It Up
4 Out the Hood
5 Outstanding
6 One Call
7 Big Shot
8 Derek Fisher
My favorite beat by Turbo is "Richard Millie Plain". While this track does feature a guitar it is not as prevalent as in other Gunna songs. This beat has more ambient pads and choirs to support the beat while the guitar is tucked into the background to add some flavor to the track. This might be the best song on the project overall. "On a Mountain" is a guitar beat like sold out dates. The guitar is light and plucky, this could easily be the Steel Nylon Guitar from Omnisphere, but who knows where Turbo gets his sounds.
Wheezy & Turbo

Both producers have great songs with Gunna on this project, but I think Wheezy's beats are more consistently hard, and overall create a more interesting and spacey mood. Turbo is better at making solid guitar style beats, while Wheezy is good with all different styles of sounds. So, I give the W to Wheezy...
Who do you think makes better beats for Gunna?
